Harold Lubberdink – Managing Director

Born in the Netherlands, Harold graduated from the TH-Rijswijk in (Hons) Technical Business Administration (ing) and lived in Milan for 12 years, and spent 3 years in London and 3 years in Brussels. His work involved managing products, sales and divisions for multinational companies; spending 8 years with Monsanto, 7 years with Bayer and 2 years with Euronil, before moving in 2006 to beautiful Menaggio on Lake Como, with his wife Sara and two children, Kevin and Amyra.

Harold is a natural born linguist, speaking 7 languages whilst having excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude and zealous drive towards work and life.

His main hobbies and interests include his family, windsurfing, skiing, tennis, golf and foreign cultures.

Sara Cilia

Sara is a confident Argentinean Businesswoman, who boasts 12 years experience of managing 2 leading Milanese sport clubs and who has gained much networking experience with English speaking Expats; having lived for 6 years in London and Brussels, and 5 years on Lake Como and in Switzerland.

In 2006 Sara came to Lake Como to make her family's Real Estate ambitions a reality.

Sara has now succeeded and can claim 5 years of experience in Holiday Property lettings, Property management, administration, PR and Interior design. Her fully accredited Holiday Property Solutions Real Estate company has been one of the most recent success stories; providing a professional and dynamic Property Sales department to the Lake Como agency.

Sara can speak Spanish, Italian, English and her hobbies include golf, tennis, skiing and travelling. She is married to Harold Lubberdink and has two delightful children, Kevin and Amyra, as well as two playful dogs.

Andrea Cesana

Andrea was born in Milan and enjoyed an idyllic childhood on Lake Como with his family. He has a degree in Tourism Management, specializing in the Management of Environmental Tourism and has attended further courses in Liguria.

He is a confident and reassured person who has worked around the world for a range of popular Italian Tour Operators having managed guest relations and providing excellent customer service in several holiday resorts.

In 2009 Andrea joined the Happy Holiday Homes team to introduce and develop the Guest Entertainment branch of the company, by marketing, networking and providing excellent customer services for holiday guests.

In 2010 Andrea gained his Real Estate License and now works for the company's Real Estate sector; Holiday Property Solutions.

Andrea enjoys customer-focused work, following through with challenging projects and problem solving.

Arthur Hylkema

Arthur is a multi-lingual Dutchman who was born on Lake Maggiore and since moving back in 2000, now lives there with his growing family.

Arthur has over 15 years experience of working as an Export Manager in the north European export sales industry and is highly organised and confident speaking with foreign businesses and clients.

From 2010 Arthur joined the Holiday Rentals team and with the aid of his excellent networking skills he has since helped develop the Lake Lugano office and also the newly emerging Lake Maggiore Holiday property branch. He is now developing his skills as a Property Manager on Lake Maggiore and is enjoying the responsibility and rewarding challenges ahead!

In his spare time Arthur enjoys the company of his lovely wife and their two daughters and son.

Karin Gulien

Born in the Netherlands, Karin is a highly skilled secretary who since 2002, has lived in Switzerland with her family.

In the Netherlands she worked as a private secretary to the Chairman of Directors in a large Medical Insurance company and successfully managed a team of secretaries.

After having her first child Karin decided on a career change and she bought a Boutique which involved taking on the selling, buying, administration, HR and marketing responsibilities of the business, as well as managing a workforce of six. Karin then moved with her husband and son to Switzerland, where since 2010 she has been working with the company as a confident and reliable member of the Holiday Rentals booking team.

She enjoys tourism, elementary school tuition and networking, where she can use her multi-lingual language skills and approachable manner to full effect.

Jasmine Rose

Jasmin was born on the Kent Coast and lived there until moving to London to study Earth Sciences at University College London. After graduating from UCL Jasmin worked for a year for a couture fashion designer in Knightsbridge, London before moving back to Kent to work for a children's charity. Jasmin has always had a great interest in the natural world and a love for the mountains and outdoors life, so the fantastic geology, environment and wildlife of Lake Como is of particular interest to her.

Many trips to Italy and a growing interest in the property market brought her to a new role for Happy Holiday Homes as a lettings assistant. Jasmin's main skills include being a fast learner with excellent people skills and is always positive with a smile! When not at work her interests and hobbies include a love for music- going to gigs and festivals, skiing, wildlife conservation and ecology, and charity fundraising challenges. Jasmin's main goals for the near future are to become fluent in French and Italian, explore more of Italy and do some mountain climbing!

Danilo Gerletti

Danilo was born on Lake Como and successfully completed a higher education course in Hotel Management in the resort town of Bellagio.

He also studied English Language and Literature in Kent and has worked at the English Hilton in Stratford-upon-Avon and, after completing a further course he worked at the Hilton in Mainz, Germany. A career with Hilton hotels developed and which saw Danilo travel around the world.

Lake Como later drew him back where he worked in a St Moritz hotel and later became the Food and Beverage manager of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

He has now brought his multi-lingual and communication skills to HHH, providing effective and valuable support to the Entertainment and Property Sales sectors of the company.

Danilo has a son from his first wife and he enjoys spending time with his family and Spanish partner, Maite. He also enjoys cooking, sport and travelling.

Daniel John Hadden

Born on the Kentish coast, Daniel has always had a taste for holidays and property alike. After finishing his BSc Hons Degree in Business Management at The University of East Anglia, in Norwich, Daniel worked for the UK's largest privately owned publishing company Haymarket in London. He then decided to independently travel around the world visiting such countries as Thailand, Malaysia, Loas to name but a few. He then decided to take the position of Marketing Executive at Happy Holiday Homes, where he is determined to put Lake Como and Lugano truely on the tourist map. After travelling the world Daniel truely believes that the Italian and Swiss lakes are some of the most beautiful in the world.

Tamara Del Renzio

Tamara was born in London to European parents and grew up on the Kent coast with her two brothers and sister.

She completed a higher diploma from Oxford Brookes in "Cities, Environment, Design and Development" and in 2008 completed her degree in "Property Agency and Marketing".

She has enjoyed a wide range of experience in the UK and Italian property sector including Property Managing and selling for London-based private developers, PA work to the Director of a Kent-based Property company and working on developments negotiating and selling.

In 2008 Tamara left the UK to work with HHH in the growing Holiday Property Bookings team. She then accepted new responsibility with the company as a Property Manager to some 50 foreign homeowners on Lake Como and then enjoyed the exciting challenge of developing the new Real Estate branch, Holiday Property Solutions, with Sara and Andrea.

On returning to the UK Tamara worked with an international Pharmaceutical company and now works on the Kent coast as a freelance writer to Italian and UK holiday property companies and is also attempting to publish her illustrated Children's books.

Her hobbies include travelling, cooking, history of art, illustrating and sport.
